As you know I am living in New Orleans, United States, since July 17, 2014. Something I've already done here that I really enjoyed was see the fireworks of july 4th celebration, at the Mississipi river.
I want to visit the the City Park while I am living here
Studying abroad is an enriching experience, but leading with the distance from the family and friends can be hard.
First, I miss my family
I miss my Brazilian friends (my second family) as well, and all the happy birthday parties. All those parties was supposed to be a surprise, but we always were discovered before the party happens.

One curiosity that everyone should know about New Orleans is that some cemeteries are famous and the tourists use take pictures in some sepultures. It is kind macabre, but here it is pretty normal. There are many films that was filmed in this city."The Princess and the Frog" is one of those films (the cutest one, in my opinion), this movie is an animation, and its story portrays the life of a poor and hard working girl, that lives in New Orleans and she has the dream of running her own restaurant.

Another interesting thing is that here (New Orleans) plays Jazz in almost any place you visit, I wish in my Brazilian city this was common too. Even all those presented good points, I wish this city had a subway.
